Teen and Adult Counseling

The Compass Center is committed to assisting survivors of violence throughout the healing process. Counseling, offered through The Compass Center’s Survivor Empowerment Program, is offered to teens and adults.

What can you expect in Teen and Adult Counseling?

In Teen and Adult Counseling, survivors work with their counselor in a safe place to process the traumatic events in their lives. Safety and confidentiality are high priorities at the agency, and we take extra precautions to ensure clients are safe and their right to confidentiality is upheld.

The Compass Center is committed to assisting survivors of violence throughout the healing process. Counseling is offered to teens and adults at no charge. Clients may come for counseling services for as long as needed.

Counselors at The Compass Center offer a trauma-focused approach to counseling and specialize in working with survivors of trauma. An advanced therapy for trauma, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocess (EMDR), is available at the agency.

What does Teen and Adult Counseling cost?

Thanks to our donors and volunteers, Teen and Adult Counseling is completely free. Insurance is not charged, and no paperwork is mailed to the home.
